G4 filter: It provides pre-filtering by holding dust and particles. Average gravimetric efficiency is 90% and dust holding capacity is 1000 g/m3.
Hepa filter grade H13: H13 class HEPA technology with advanced air filtration rate up to PM0.3. Particle and bacterial removal rate up to 99.97% at 0.3 microns and above.
Maximum virus disinfection with optional UV-C lamp: Ultraviolet (UV-C) purification is one of the most effective methods for cleaning the air of biological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses and fungal spores. Optionally added UV germicidal lamps can be installed to ventilation ducts to clean the air that flows through them. UV air purification technology in Hycanx Commercial Air Purifiers work in tandem with other filtration systems (2-stage filtration) and provides virus disinfection at the highest efficiency and reliability.

How UV-C lamps work?
UV-C radiation has a photolytic effect on DNA. Microorganisms such as bacteria, mold, yeast and virus cannot multiply under the effect of UVC (Figure 1). The disinfection effect is achieved at wavelengths below 320 nm and at maximum level at 260 nm. Germicidal lamps, which emit light at 254 nm (approximately 85% of the maximum efficiency), do not contain ozone.
Ozone-Free lamps
Major lines in the spectrum are 254 nm and 185 nm. Ultraviolet light with a wavelength of less than 240 nm produces ozone. High-energy radiation below 240 nm can pass through quartz. If ozone is not required, special glass or suitable quartz types are used. They are transparent to radiation that kills microorganisms but do not allow ozone-producing radiation to pass.
Technical points to remember in the HEPA filter installation orocess:

*  Channeled FCU, VRF and Heat Pump indoor units are not capable of compensating the pressure loss caused by the Hepa filter.

*  Larger cross sections are needed in the Hepa Filter application. It is not possible to be placed inside the units. A separate unit is required.

*  In order to overcome the pressure of the Hepa Filter, a separate fan must be connected to the system in series.

*  Pressure control is required for the interaction of the serial fan and the indoor unit fan.

*  A compatible automatic control unit must be installed for the existing cooling system and Hepa Filter unit to work in tandem with each other without any problems.

*  A small channel adaptation will be required.

*  It is important to visually monitor the filter contamination of the installed system.

*  The Hepa + UVC Commercial Air Purifier system must be regularly inspected by independent accredited institutions for the correct filtration.

*  If this system is applied to several indoor units, strong system coordination and a qualified maintenance team will be required.
